Most funeral homes offer wide ranges of caskets, sometimes as high as $ 40,000, showcasing exorbitant Solid Copper or Solid Bronze caskets. Our caskets generally range between $650 and $2900. We have a few caskets that go as high as $ 5500. Most of our families either select one of the caskets included in our SOUTHTOWN, BRIDGEPORT, and CENTRAL PACKAGES or find something quite nice for under $ 2900. That’s correct, the casket is included in our SOUTHTOWN, BRIDGEPORT, and CENTRAL PACKAGES packages, meaning there is no additional charge for a casket.
At Central Chapel, we deal with only AMERICAN casket companies and provide AMERICAN made caskets. Eighty percent of the caskets we offer are from the family owned Hoffman Burial in Peoria and Bridgeview, IL. The other twenty percent are from Batesville Casket in Indiana.

The majority of steel caskets available on the market today have gaskets. These have been commonly known as "sealers" or "protective" caskets. This terminology reflects that they are manufactured with a one-piece rubber gasket that runs around the inner lid of the casket.
